All AKT Exams will all be conducted online via the PSI AMP secure portal, found here.

Exams cost $42 each, with the AKT-1 Pre-test and Post-Test available as a set for $80.  Purchases are made using the PSI AMP secure on-line portal, with payment by credit card or purchase order.

Following the purchase of exams, the program will be sent e-mails with a URL to access the exams and unique usernames and passwords for each exam candidate.

The exams will be administered using a secure internet-based test delivery system that does not require any software to be downloaded to the local computers/device used to take the exam (except for a compatible internet browser as detailed in 6 below).

Any computer hardware device that can connect to the internet and that has access to one of the browsers listed below can be used to take the exams.

• Candidates can use personal computers or tablet devices, if they meet the requirements outlined in the administration of examinations document.  Click here to access that document.

The minimum browser requirements for taking the examination are:

1. Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 or above

2. Microsoft Edge 12 and above

3. Firefox 7.0 and above

4. Chrome 14 and above

5. Safari 4.0 and above

A reliable and persistent internet connection with a speed of a least 768 kbits/second is required.

IHSGAE will continue to require program directors and coordinators to maintain the security of the exams.

• Exam administration must still occur in a secure proctored environment under standard conditions.
